Ever want to talk to a Cobra (pilot!)

The Covid-19 crisis is not keeping us from "interviewing old guys and drawing their airplanes! On May 16, we're starting a series of live, interactive interviews that we're calling "OGTA Debriefs."

OGTA Debriefs are a rare opportunity to meet someone who was actually 'there' - history buffs, educators, fellow veterans and family of veterans are especially encouraged to attend.

Our first will feature Pat Owen, Cobra pilot from Marine Squadron HML-367. OGTA host John Mollison will interview Pat, then open the mic for moderated questions from the audience.

Pat's military career is important and fascinating: he flew AH-1G Cobras with Marine squadron HML-367 during the Vietnam War, accumulating over 750 sorties. In the process, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions during the (in)famous Operation Tailwind... and retired from the Corps flying the fantastic Harrier jet.

There's a modest charge for participation; the Distinguished Flying Cross Society will receive proceeds.

Attendees can expect approximately one hour of interview, questions, unpublished photos, artwork and video + prizes (yes, prizes).

Date and time: Saturday, May 16, 1000hrs (CST)
